Great way to get accurate yardages for less. Now with the update it will fit iPhone Plus models better. If your home course isnt in their database you can always map it yourself.

Best golf gps I have tried yet. Recent update just put it over the top!

Very disappointed that I had to pay but still get served ads. Also there is no score card functionality like in the Android version.

I play weekly with people who use sky caddies and I routinely have the same better distances to the green. All for a fraction of the cost! Great app that Ive used it since its inception. Thanks for the update!

This is a great app. I thought my Callaway uPro was perfect until it was discontinued but that set the bar for me. Ive been looking for an equivalent GPS device with satellite, not cartoonish, imagery thats ​very ​easy to use and gives me distance to any spot on the course. I didnt want to fool around with scoring​, ​club stats or other clutter. I was not really wanting to use a smartphone app ​unless it was really something special ​because of the risk of damage to an expensive phone. Fast forward to golfing with a friend who suggested SkyDroid. It is incredibly simple and easy to use. The maps are beautiful and I find very little battery drain when I follow the suggestions given. Two important things to rave about are the course mapper and customer support. A course that holds a lot of tournaments was redesigned last year and only the old map was available. So... I mapped ​the new course myself! It was unbelievably easy to do. No more wishing that a pre-mapped course had just one more reading to a particular landmark, with the course mapper you can add it yourself. The course mapper tool allows SkyDroid to crowdsource the list of mapped courses so ANY course you want can be mapped or edited. As for customer support, I was pleasantly surprised that the app support is great. This is where George comes in. Ive dealt with many customer support people over the years but George puts them all to shame. At one point I wondered whether he might be the developer of the app; he knows so much and was so keen to resolve any issue. George patiently answered every question I had, he tried every solution on his iPhone before suggesting it to me, and he always encouraged me to provide feedback to make the app better. Finally, I was planning to use SkyDroid on a golf trip and George was still educating me on how to use the app. I couldnt find a course and didnt have time to map it. Well, George mapped it for me. Thats amazing customer support. In the way of improvements it would be nice if the long press time on the iPhone was shortened just a little, supporting more than one custom measurement on the screen would be nice, and the real-time read-out thats available in FreeCaddie Pro would really be a great addition to SkyDroid. Even without those enhancements its a great app. SkyDroid - get it - and with George in customer support you cant go wrong.

Great app but 3 stars until they add an Apple Watch app.

Very much like the simple and straightforward user interaction. Buttons are intuitively obvious and easy to move between holes and 9 hole segments. Like the way they have 3 "segments" for the 3 9s of our 27 hole course (other apps treat them as entirely separate courses). Nice zoom feature when you need it. Everything I need and none of the extra stuff that would just get in my way (I dont need scoring, tracking, etc as those apps require a lot of extra entry)

Purchased this for $1.99. Tried golf gps navigator and golf logic. They were rip offs. This app exceeds and match most golf gps finders that cost $100.00 to $200.00 plus. Purchased the V1 Coaching app from this same developer and is a great teaching and training app.

I have had this app for years and when I switched to Apple suddenly my scorecard and rounds were gone.... so much for the years of stats and tracking I had accrued across the country huh! I enjoyed the ability to track key items and being able to customize what stats to keep and which to exclude. I dont need all of the additional score functions but fairways, clubs, driving distance, and putts were VERY important to me. Now I cant view progress or weak game areas like before. My Garmin NeoX watch is a GPS and does what this does now and I dont have to pull a phone out to use it. Bring back the other features!!!

Great gps for 1.99 but I wish you could keep your score on it too. Works well on yardage and eaiser to use that sky caddie

Useless in GTA. Hardly any courses on here... Worse than the free apps!

I downloaded a bunch of different apps and dumped them all because I didnt have time on the course to navigate through them to get yardage. Theres an important thing called PACE in the game of golf! We handed my Bushnell rangefinder down to my in-laws and I just needed something to replace it and this is perfect. Please do not add features or if you do, keep a separate app for JUST GPS only. Thanks for making a simple option available!

Good app. Perfect for use in even the most exclusive clubs. I wish they had an Apple Watch app as that would be very easy

What a great app. Ive been looking for a good golf app that can help me on the course. This is truly a gem of an app! For only $2, you wouldnt expect very much. However, I was able to find the courses that I wanted to play this past weekend. One was a city course and the other was a country club. Both were available for download. There are no additional costs to download courses. Not only will this app give you an overview of each hole you play, but it will also track your drives or any other shot for what you wish to know how far you hit the ball. Once you get to your ball, it is highly accurate to the front middle and back of the green. It also shows you yardage to each bunker or hazard, which is very useful off the tee or for your approach shot. It is almost like a golf video game in the palm of your hand, except you still have to execute the shot yourself and not with a game controller. I played on Sunday with a friend who has a Bushnell yardage finder, and it was as accurate as this app. I couldnt believe it! Kudos to the developers! Dont delay, get this app right now! You will not be disappointed.

Im very pleased with this app. Ive been using it for a year or so. Its accurate and easy to use.

This app works well, but requires Location Services to be selected as Always, so it the app is constantly burning your battery life. An update can easily change that. I am constantly turning it on and off.

What happened to scorecard? I loved this app until they removed ability to keep score...

On point gps. Ive matched this app with multiple golf gps systems,and golf cart gpss and this one was right in target. The yards to the different sections of the green is a plus.

Forgot our Sky Caddie, but found this App to be almost as good. Easy to use too
